This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit isabelnelis.com (the “Website”), purchase or use our products and services, subscribe to our newsletter, communicate with us, or otherwise interact with Isabel Nelis.

This Policy applies to our Website and to personal information we handle in connection with our digital products, applications, courses, memberships, coaching services, communications, and other services.
1. Who is responsible for your personal information?
Isabelle Nelis is responsible for the protection of personal information handled by Isabel Nelis.

Under Quebec's private-sector privacy framework, the person with the highest authority within a business is responsible by default for the protection of personal information, and the responsible person's title and contact information must be published on the business's website.
2. What personal information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
Purchases and customer accounts
When you purchase a product or service or create an account, we may collect information such as:
your name;
email address;
city;
province, state, or region;
postal or ZIP code;
country;
products or services purchased;
transaction and purchase information;
account information; and
information necessary to provide and administer your purchase.
Our current checkout system does not require your street address or telephone number as part of the ordinary checkout information we collect.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe or PayPal.
When payment information is entered directly into a third-party payment processor, we do not need to receive or store your complete credit or debit card number, expiration date, or security code.
Newsletter subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, we may collect:
your first name; and
your email address.
We may also collect information relating to your interactions with our emails or our business so that we can organize and personalize communications, such as your interests, products purchased, or engagement with our emails.
Information you provide through our apps and digital products
Our applications and digital products may ask you to provide information so they can generate personalized results.
Depending on the product, this may include:
information about your business;
brand information;
business ideas and goals;
positioning information;
content ideas;
answers to questions and exercises;
scripts or written materials;
uploaded documents;
.md files;
prompts;
creative materials; and
other information you choose to provide while using the product.
This information is collected primarily so that the product can perform the function you requested and generate useful outputs for you.
Uploaded files
Some products may allow you to upload files, documents, scripts, branding materials, or other content.
You should only upload information you have the right to use and should avoid submitting highly sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the product.
Please do not submit passwords, complete payment-card information, banking credentials, government identification numbers, medical records, or similarly sensitive information unless a particular service expressly requires it.
Coaching information
If you purchase coaching services, we may collect information you provide during the coaching relationship, including:
goals and objectives;
business information;
ideas and plans;
written communications;
voice or video messages;
documents you provide;
information exchanged through a coaching portal;
session information; and
other information you voluntarily discuss in connection with coaching.
We may also maintain private coaching notes relating to sessions, goals, action items, progress, or other information useful for providing the coaching service.
Coaching recordings
Video coaching sessions may be recorded only with your consent.
If you do not consent to recording, the session may proceed without being recorded.
Where a session is recorded, the recording may be made available through the coaching platform during your coaching engagement.
Consent to record a private coaching session does not give us permission to publish the recording or use it for a testimonial, case study, YouTube content, marketing, training material, or another unrelated purpose.
Separate permission will be requested for such use.
Communications with us
We do not currently use a contact form on the Website.
If you choose to email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever information you voluntarily include in your message.
We may retain communications when reasonably necessary to respond to you, provide customer support, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, or fulfill legal obligations.
Technical and usage information
When you use our Website or online products, certain technical information may be collected automatically by us or by the technology providers that help operate our services.
Depending on the technology being used, this may include:
IP address;
browser or device information;
operating system;
login activity;
pages or features accessed;
interactions with the Website or product;
cookie or similar technology information; and
information needed for security, troubleshooting, and operation of the service.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained further in our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use personal information
We may use personal information to:
provide products and services you request;
create and administer customer accounts;
authenticate access to products;
process and administer purchases;
deliver access codes and product information;
generate personalized app outputs;
process information through AI functionality where required by a product;
provide coaching services;
communicate with coaching clients;
provide customer support;
troubleshoot technical problems;
maintain the security and integrity of our products;
communicate important information concerning a product or service you purchased;
manage newsletter subscriptions;
personalize newsletter content for subscribers;
understand how our products and features are used;
improve our products, services, workflows, and customer experience;
prevent misuse, fraud, or security incidents;
comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, or tax obligations; and
establish, exercise, or defend legal rights where necessary.
We do not use personal information for materially different purposes without obtaining appropriate consent unless the use is otherwise permitted or required by law.
4. Product improvement and statistics
We may use information about how customers interact with our products to understand and improve them.
For example, if an application recommends three possible brand bundles, we may want to understand how often users select one of the recommended bundles versus exploring other options.
Our objective in retaining longer-term product statistics is to understand how the product is used, not to maintain a permanent profile of a particular customer.
Where appropriate, information used for longer-term statistical or product-improvement purposes will be aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise processed to reduce its connection with identifiable individuals, subject to applicable legal requirements.
We do not use private customer business information simply to create internal performance benchmarks about our customers.
5. Artificial intelligence
Some of our applications use third-party artificial intelligence services to provide their functionality.
Information you enter into an AI-enabled feature may therefore be transmitted to and processed by an AI service provider, currently including Anthropic/Claude, where necessary to generate the output you requested.
We use this processing to provide the product functionality to you.
Isabel Nelis does not use customers' private app content to train its own artificial intelligence models.
Third-party AI providers operate their own systems and may process information in accordance with their contractual arrangements with us and their applicable privacy and security practices.
We may change AI providers as our products and technology evolve.
6. Future connected services and YouTube analytics
We may introduce products that allow you to connect a third-party account, such as a YouTube account, to retrieve information for your use.
If we introduce such functionality, access will require the appropriate authorization from you.
We intend to access only information reasonably necessary to provide the connected functionality.
You will be able to revoke or disconnect an authorized account where the applicable integration permits it. Once access has been revoked, we will stop retrieving new information through that authorization.
We do not intend to use identifiable client channel-performance data for our own marketing, benchmarking, or public case studies without the client's permission.
If we wish to feature a client's channel performance, results, or analytics publicly, we will request separate consent.
7. Newsletter and marketing communications
Subscribing to our newsletter is voluntary.
Purchasing a product or service does not automatically subscribe you to our marketing newsletter.
Customers may receive transactional or service-related communications necessary to deliver or administer something they purchased. These may include:
receipts;
access codes;
account information;
product access instructions;
important service notices;
security communications; and
information necessary to administer a purchase.
These communications are separate from marketing communications.
Marketing and newsletter emails are sent to people who have subscribed to receive them.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism included in the email.
When you unsubscribe, we may retain the minimum information reasonably necessary to maintain a suppression record and ensure that your unsubscribe preference continues to be respected.
8. Newsletter personalization and segmentation
We may organize newsletter subscribers into groups or segments so that communications are more relevant.
For example, we may use information such as:
products purchased;
interests you have indicated;
links or content you interact with; or
engagement with our communications.
We use this information for our own communications and marketing.
We do not sell or rent our customer or subscriber lists to other businesses for their own marketing purposes.
9. Testimonials, case studies, and client results
We will not use private client communications, screenshots, recordings, coaching materials, business results, or other identifiable customer content publicly merely because you provided that information while using our products or services.
If we want to use your information for a testimonial, case study, YouTube video, marketing material, or similar public purpose, we will request appropriate consent.
This may include consent to use specific results or performance information. The scope of the use will depend on the permission provided. You may also voluntarily submit a testimonial or authorize us to use particular content for that purpose.
10. Legal disclosures
We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary or permitted by law, including to:
comply with a legal obligation, court order, or lawful governmental request;
investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
protect our legal rights;
protect the safety or rights of another person; or
establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
11. When we share personal information
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose personal information to third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business and provide our products and services.
These providers may include:
website and application hosting providers;
Systeme.io or other commerce, account, email, or course platforms;
Stripe, PayPal, or other payment processors;
Anthropic or other AI providers;
email delivery providers such as Resend;
video providers such as YouTube, Loom, or Vimeo;
coaching portal providers;
video-conferencing and communication providers;
scheduling providers such as Calendly or similar services;
data-storage and cloud providers;
security and fraud-prevention providers; and
professional advisers or service providers where reasonably necessary.
We may change service providers as our technology and business evolve.
We aim to disclose only information reasonably necessary for the provider to perform the relevant service.
12. International processing and storage
We use technology providers that may operate in Canada, the United States, Europe, or other jurisdictions.
As a result, your personal information may be processed, transferred, or stored outside Quebec or outside Canada.
When personal information is handled in another jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement authorities, or governmental authorities in accordance with applicable law.
We take applicable privacy requirements into account when using service providers that process personal information outside Quebec.
Quebec law imposes requirements on businesses before communicating personal information outside Quebec, including assessing relevant privacy factors.
13. How long we retain information
We do not intend to retain identifiable personal information indefinitely simply because it was collected.
Retention depends on the type of information, why it was collected, whether the product or service remains active, and whether legal or legitimate business requirements require continued retention.
App content
For process-based applications, customer content may be retained while necessary to operate the product and allow the customer to complete the applicable process.
When the applicable product process and required retention period are complete, identifiable customer content that is no longer required will be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law.
Customers are responsible for downloading and backing up outputs that are provided for them to keep.
Membership products
Where access depends on an active membership, relevant account and product information may be retained while the membership remains active and for an appropriate period afterward where necessary for account administration, legal obligations, dispute resolution, security, or other legitimate purposes.
Coaching content and recordings
Client-facing coaching content and recordings maintained in a coaching portal are intended to remain available during the coaching engagement.
After the engagement ends, content will be deleted according to our applicable retention practices, subject to any information that must reasonably be retained for legal, administrative, or other permitted purposes.
Private coaching notes
Identifiable private coaching notes may be retained for up to one year after the coaching relationship ends.
This allows continuity if the client returns for additional coaching within that period.
After that period, identifiable private coaching notes will be securely destroyed unless retention is required by law.
We may separately preserve non-identifying learnings, patterns, or observations for the purpose of improving our services, provided they are handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
Purchase and business records
Certain transaction, accounting, tax, contractual, or administrative records may need to be retained for longer periods where required or permitted by law.
Unsubscribe records
If you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we may retain limited information necessary to ensure that your unsubscribe request continues to be honoured.
Quebec guidance requires businesses to establish retention and destruction practices and, generally, to securely destroy personal information once the purposes for which it was collected or used have been fulfilled, subject to legal retention requirements.
14. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal information we handle.
These safeguards are intended to protect personal information against risks such as unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No website, cloud service, email system, online platform, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If a confidentiality or security incident involving personal information occurs, we will assess the incident, take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of harm and prevent recurrence, and notify affected individuals and/or appropriate authorities when required by applicable law.
In Quebec, businesses must notify the Commission d'accès à l'information and affected individuals when a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious harm, and businesses must maintain a confidentiality-incident register.
15. Cookies and similar technologies
Our Website and the third-party services embedded in or connected to it may use cookies or similar technologies.
Some cookies may be necessary for the Website or service to function.
Where required, non-essential cookies—such as analytics, advertising, or similar tracking technologies—will be subject to appropriate consent choices.
Our Website may also contain embedded videos from services such as YouTube, Loom, or Vimeo. Depending on the technology and consent configuration, certain embedded content may not load until the visitor has made the relevant cookie choice.
Please see our Cookie Policy for more information.
16. External websites and services
Our Website and products may link to websites or services that we do not operate. For example, a clickable YouTube icon may direct you to our YouTube presence, or educational materials may contain links to third-party resources.
Once you leave our Website or interact directly with another service, that third party's privacy practices may apply.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
17. Children's privacy
Our Website, products, and services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer our products or services to children.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where we should not have done so, we will take appropriate steps to delete or otherwise address that information.
18. Your privacy rights
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights concerning your personal information.
These may include rights to:
request access to personal information we hold about you;
request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
obtain information about how your personal information is used or disclosed;
withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions;
request deletion or cessation of certain uses where applicable;
raise a concern or complaint about our privacy practices; and
exercise other privacy rights available under applicable law.
Quebec's private-sector privacy framework provides individuals with access and rectification rights, and the CAI states that businesses generally must respond diligently to such requests within 30 days. (Cai)

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request so that personal information is not disclosed or changed improperly.
19. Withdrawing consent
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable legal and contractual limitations.
Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide a particular feature or service when the information is necessary to provide it.
For example, an AI-powered application cannot generate personalized outputs without processing the information necessary to generate those outputs.
Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent us from sending communications necessary to administer a product or service you already purchased.

Please describe your concern with enough information for us to understand and investigate it.
We will review privacy complaints in good faith, take appropriate corrective measures where warranted, and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Quebec businesses are required to establish a process for handling privacy complaints as part of their privacy-governance practices.
21. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business, products, technology, service providers, or legal obligations change.
The current version will be posted on our Website with an updated “Last updated” date.
Where a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where appropriate or required by law.
Quebec requires organizations collecting personal information through technological means to publish a clear privacy policy and notify affected individuals of modifications to that policy.
